Fit guaranteePart of every order

If it doesn’t fit, we make it again.

If a marked dimension is outside the fabricator’s tolerance, or the part doesn’t fit the interfaces you picked, we remake it at our cost. If the remake fails too, you get a full refund.

What isn’t

Where the guarantee stops

  • Interfaces you didn’t declare. If the part doesn’t fit something that wasn’t in the order, it isn’t covered. We offer a discounted revision instead. You can accept the part, or ask the independent resolver to decide.
  • Problems flagged after the inspection window. You have 7 days from delivery. If you don’t flag a problem by then, the payment is released.

If we disagree

An independent resolver decides

Flagging a problem freezes your payment in the escrow. If we can’t agree on a remake or a refund, a named independent resolver reviews the evidence and can split the payment.

The resolver has 14 days. If they don’t act in time, you can reclaim your payment from the contract yourself. We pick the resolver, so we carry the risk of them being slow.

Checking a part

About five minutes, with calipers

You need a digital caliper (0.01 mm resolution), a phone camera, and the hardware the part mounts to.

  1. 01

    Check what arrived

Quantity, material and finish match the order, and nothing is visibly damaged. Photograph the part on a plain background.

  2. 02

    Measure the critical dimensions

The drawing marks three to five of them, CD1 to CD5. Measure each twice and enter both readings. The app compares the mean with the nominal value and the fabricator’s published tolerance for the process.

  3. 03

    Fit it

Install the part on its interfaces. Do the holes line up? Do the fasteners go in without force? Is anything in the way? Photograph it installed.

  4. 04

    Record each result

Pass, fail or inconclusive. Missing data is never a pass.

  5. 05

    Decide

If everything passes, accept, and the payment is released to us. If anything fails, flag it: the payment freezes and we remake or refund.

Your evidence

What happens to the measurements

Your readings, the fit result and the photos become an evidence record. It’s encrypted, stored on 0G Storage, and its root is posted to the escrow by your wallet when you accept or flag. It’s linked in your Part Passport.

The record proves nothing changed after you posted it. It can’t prove the measurements are true, which is why the guarantee, the one-remake limit and the independent resolver exist.

Every result, pass or fail, also teaches us which designs fit: a mechanical reviewer looks at every failure, and fabricators that keep missing tolerance get fewer orders.
